You can look right…
sound right…
say the right things…

…and still not reflect God.

Because God is not revealed by appearance.

He is revealed by fruit.

WHY IT MATTERS

Fruit is the evidence.

Not gifts.
Not words.
Not emotions.

Fruit.

It shows:
who is leading you
what is growing in you
where you are rooted

“A tree is known by its fruit.” — Matthew 12:33

WITHOUT THE SPIRIT, THERE IS FLESH

If the Spirit is not leading…
the flesh is.

And the flesh produces:

anger

jealousy

division

impurity

selfishness

“The works of the flesh are evident…” — Galatians 5:19

You cannot live in the flesh
and expect to reflect the Spirit.

HOW FRUIT IS PRODUCED

You don’t force it.

You don’t perform it.

You don’t fake it.

You abide.

“He who abides in Me… bears much fruit.” — John 15:5

Stay connected to God.
Walk with Him.
Be led by His Spirit.

Fruit grows naturally
from relationship.

THE FRUIT (WITH UNDERSTANDING)

LOVE

Not feelings: obedience.

Love chooses God’s way.
It forgives.
It sacrifices.
It reflects Christ.

JOY

Not based on life.

Joy comes from knowing God.
It remains even when life is hard.

---

PEACE

Not no problems.

Peace is calm in chaos.
It trusts God without needing control.

---

PATIENCE

Not just waiting.

Patience trusts God’s timing
without frustration taking over.

---

KINDNESS

Not weakness.

Kindness chooses gentleness
when harshness would be easier.

---

GOODNESS

Not just nice.

Goodness is living right before God

even when no one sees.

---

FAITHFULNESS

Not just belief.

Faithfulness is consistency with God
in every season.

---

GENTLENESS

Not soft: controlled.

Gentleness responds with grace,
not force.

---

SELF-CONTROL

Not restriction: discipline.

Self-control says no to the flesh
and yes to God.

THE REAL QUESTION

What is growing in you?

Spirit… or flesh?

Because whatever you feed will show.

TRANSFORMATION

This is not behavior change.

This is transformation.

From the inside out.
By the Spirit of God.

PRAYER

Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus,

Let Your Spirit grow what I cannot produce on my own.
Remove what is not of You.
Teach me to walk in love, patience, and truth.

Let my life bear fruit
that reflects You.

So it is so.
Amen.
